The takeaways on our platform have to sell the food on there at the same price as their in-store menu price, they are not allowed to inflate the menu price the cover the cost of the service. As our commission is so low. The big food platforms charge in excess of 14% - 30% per every order and we only charge 5%, so this becomes affordable for the takeaways to use the platform without the need to increase their menu prices.
Its about giving control back to independent businesses and reducing prices for customers. Food order seems to be the only place where ordering online costs more than ordering direct.
